The Users group meeting was attended by over 100 FOIAXpress users to preview the release of FOIAXpress version 6.0 in .NET technology. The 6.0 version of PAL (Public Access Link), User Interface can be configured so it matches an agency’s other web sites, A new Find and Redact feature (SSNs, Phone Numbers, Employer Ids, Credit Card Numbers, Email Addresses, Text or patterns search), Case Folder View by Sub Requests, Case Linking, and Appeal Type Customization are just a few of the features shown during the all day event. There was much excitement among the crowd.

The Department of State announced that the team led by Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) that includes AINS, Inc. was awarded a contract for $710 Million for the Security Assurance Services and Innovation (SASI) solicitation. Under this contract the CSC team will provide technical, engineering, management, operational, logistical, administration, and other support necessary for a safe and secure IT environment. The work will include, but not limited to, computation, communications, telecommunications, telephony, wireless, physical and logical monitoring and security systems, and other computer-managed or controlled systems or networks. The master ceiling of the contract in the aggregate is for one base year plus four option years.
