Nov-05 | CATS
A Consulting and Technical Services (CATS) Master Contract was awarded
to AINS, Inc. by the State of Maryland, Department of Budget and
Management (DBM). Under this vehicle, AINS is to provide IT consulting
and technical services for the entire State of Maryland in three
functional areas. These include Functional Area 3: Electronic Document
Management, Functional Area 5: Software Engineering and Functional Area
7: Information System Security services. This contract has no ceiling. |

Jul-05 | EPA FOIAXpress Goes Live
EPA used an ageing Lotus Notes database to process over 12,000 requests
per year which prompted EPA in 2004 to initiate a market study to
determine which FOIA products would best support their FOIA business
process. EPA selected FOIAXpress over all the competition that is a
Web-based information system that is managed by OEI on behalf of the
Agency. With careful planning by EPA and AINS the deployment of
FOIAXpress to over 276 FTEs was successfully completed in less than 30
days. FOIAXpress will allow EPA to maintain a minimum backlog rate and
improve the quality, consistency and timeliness of the Agency’s FOIA
responses. |
