specifically to provide Canadian federal government institutions with
the automated ability to comply with the Access to Information Act (ATIA)
and Privacy Act (PA) (together referred to as "ATIP"). ATIPXpress is a
feature-rich application that automates compliance with ATIP laws,
regulations and policies, and transforms the work of ATIP processing
from paper, manual labor and needlessly repetitive tasks to automated
processes. ATIPXpress is an extended version of FOIAXpress (http://www.foiaxpress.com).
FOIAXpress is sold in the United States and is the most comprehensive

stores, retrieves, redacts, and prints documents for delivery to ATIP

and generates reports on the number, type, and disposition of ATIP
requests processed, as required by the Treasury Board Secretariat and
the Acts.
In a recent evaluation by Public Works and Government Services Canada
(PWGSC), ATIPXpress™ software was found to meet all of the 272 mandatory
technical requirements established by PWGSC’s ATIP-focused File, Imaging
