eCase Workflow, Case/Information
Tracking and Processing
Processing and managing information correctly is the hallmark of a
successful organization. Information, however, is exploding and
businesses and governments are increasingly struggling to keep pace.
Indeed, efficiently managing and correctly processing information is
becoming an ever-more valuable competitive advantage.
eCase Workflow, Case Tracking and Processing helps agencies gain this
advantage by managing their business information and work flow
processes. eCase leverages best-of-breed content management disciplines
such as SharePoint, Documentum, Open Text, Oracle Content DB etc. to
deliver a complete automated information management, tracking, and
reporting solution. eCase breaks information down into case types and
then automates the work flow of these case types throughout the
organization. A case could be any type of information, including emails,
contacts, invoices, contracts etc. |

eCase serves as an interface
between information (cases), an organization, their employees, and their
contacts. It enables the workforce to quickly assess and digest the
influx of information and then to act appropriately. eCase keeps
organizations informed about their business processes. And by keeping
organizations informed, eCase enables flexibility; it gives
organizations the invaluable ability to quickly identify and adapt to
changes in their environment.
One Solution, Many Applications
eCase provides a few standard Application Types right out of the box,
such as Correspondence, HR, Finance, and Legal. eCase’s flexible
structure, however, allows users to create their own custom Application
Types as well. Each Application Type can have various case/information
types associated with it, which are defined by the user. Users can
choose either one Application type or all Application Types based on
permissions (set by the administrator) of the associated case types.
eCase supports application level custom fields as well as case type
level custom fields. Users can create their own custom Choice Lists as
well as custom views of their case inbox. |
